Plan is ONE: One year of making art with you

Today marks one full year since Plan officially went live. Which feels mad to say, considering we had already spent almost a year before that figuring out the product, sourcing materials, testing frames, refining the kits and trying to turn this idea into something real.

But 4 September 2025 was the day we finally pressed go! And now, one year later, there are Plan artworks hanging in homes around the WORLD. Feels absolutely surreal and amazing all at once.

Whether you’ve ordered one of our art kits, made a piece for your home, shared us with a friend, followed along, liked a post, sent us a message, left a review or just been watching from the sidelines, thank you.

Every bit of support has mattered. We’re still a very small business, so we notice it all. And seeing what you create with our kits is easily one of our favourite parts of building Plan.

 

Your art is the best bit

One thing we hoped from the beginning was that Plan would be all about creative freedom. We wanted to give you the canvas, materials, tools and a starting point, then leave room for you to take it exactly where YOU wanted to take it.

And you absolutely have.

Different colours, styles, homes and ideas. We’ve seen pieces we never would have thought to make ourselves, and we love that.

 

One year down

We have a lot we still want to build, improve, experiment with and bring to Plan. But today we’re just really grateful that one year after launching we’re still here making it, and that so many of you have chosen to make something with us.

Thank you for being part of our first year.

Here’s to plenty more art, experimenting, sometimes questionable first marks (that magically turn into... well, magic) and pieces worth hanging very proudly on the wall.
