THIS IS PLAN

It all started from a simple thing. We were just trying to find art for our homes. Something that felt personal and well made, but also something that didn’t completely clear out the bank account.

 

But everything we came across was either too expensive or didn’t feel like us. So being the love-anything-creative people we both are, we thought we’ll just make something ourselves.

 

Enter chaos.

 

We started looking into materials, tools, framed canvases, the lot. It didn’t take long to realise how overwhelming it was. How many different places we needed to source everything from. It felt so much more complicated than it needed to be. But at the same time, that feeling of wanting to create our own art stuck.

 

So that’s when things shifted. It started to feel like there was something bigger in it. We can’t be the only two people who want this? An easier way to create one of one art for your home.

That’s when Plan really started. And that’s when the real work began too.

 

What followed was months of testing, adjusting, failing and then repeating the same process. Different frame builds, different canvases, different ways of making everything work.

 

Most days felt extremely exciting, and some were just frustrating. But we kept coming back to it. Because by that point, it wasn’t just an idea anymore. It was something we genuinely believed in and truly saw the value in.

 

Plan came from a simple thought:

What if everything you needed to create quality art at home was just there? Something that gives you just enough to begin, without ever telling you what to do.

 

At its core, that’s all Plan is.

A way to create your own one of one art at home. Something that looks good, lasts, feels good to make and something that means something to you. Without overcomplicating the process or lowering the quality.
