One thing we keep hearing? How little waste our kits create. Everything inside is made to be used, from the brushes and canvas to the very last drop of paint. And with a bit of creative thinking, even the offcuts and packaging can become tools (try scraping paint with a scrap of cardboard — it works beautifully).

PERSONAL FRAMES

Our frames are custom-designed for Plan and handcrafted by a skilled craftsman in Edinburgh. They're made using European plywood and redwood, cut and produced with care. What matters to us is knowing exactly where our materials come from and supporting local, skilled craftsmanship over mass production. We would always rather build fewer things, better.

SLOW BY DESIGN

We produce in small, intentional batches. Our kits are made to be kept, displayed, gifted, and loved — not stashed in a drawer or discarded after one use. When something feels meaningful to make, it tends to stay with you longer. That’s our version of sustainability.

PACKAGING THAT DOESN'T SHOUT, OR POLLUTE

Our packaging is fully recyclable and plastic-free. From the custom-printed box to the protective layers inside, we’ve kept it simple, low-impact and unbranded where it counts, so you can reuse what you like or recycle the rest easily.

We’re not perfect. But we’re always learning, questioning, adjusting and saying no to shortcuts that compromise quality or care. To us, sustainability means:
