Everything you need to build a framed canvas and create your own artwork at home. From the frame and canvas to the art tools and paints, everything is included and chosen to make starting feel easy.

 

Designed around classic primary colours with black and white, this kit gives you complete freedom to mix, layer and explore colour in any way you like. You’ll be guided through assembling your canvas with video tutorials, and given inspiration and techniques to help you start painting with confidence. The guidance helps you begin and the images shown are here to inspire, but what you create is up to you.

 

The result is a hands-on creative experience and something you made yourself: a framed artwork you can feel proud of.

Frame & Assembly

Our frames are custom-designed and handcrafted locally in Edinburgh, made to be part of your final piece, not just behind it. The inner frame features a groove along each inside edge, so your finished artwork can hang on the wall with ease. Place a pin in the wall and slot your artwork into the groove.

A 3-in-1 staple gun is included to assemble your frame and stretch the canvas. Please note this is a powerful tool and should always be handled with care, by adults only.

Suitable for Beginners?

Yes, our kits are made for all skill levels (that said, they are not designed for children and recommended for adults only). Everything is included to make it easy to get started. If you’re new to making art or building frames, our e-guide will walk you through everything.
